(Carbon dioxide running extraction set, 5th lab)


General information on the set and its purpose

The laboratory set of pre-critical CO2 extraction represents a complex spatial system that consists of extractor, evaporator, condenser, and collector, locking and controlling devices. The whole system is mounted on a single, vertical assembly cabinet and has connecting piping system. The working mode is cyclic, extraction is made by a flow of liquid carbon dioxide gas at pressure of 58-65 atmospheres and at temperature of 18-260C.

The set is designed for generation of small amounts of plant extracts of lipophilic character by means of extraction by liquid carbon dioxide for the purposes of scientific-research works.
