CO2–extract of Hips
CO2–extract of hips is a dense pasty orange (with red tint) liquid with pronounced odour of hips. The extract can be dissolved in alcohol or oils, but cannot in water. Extract of hips is a polyvitaminic concentrate - it contains balanced concentration of vitamins and phytohormones: carotinoids (provitamin A), vitamin С, tocopherol (vitamin E), complex of vitamin F (oleic, linoleic, linolenic acids), vitamin K, flavonoids, essential oils (terpenoids), waxes, dye-stuffs (lycopene, xanthophyll), etc.
The balanced concentration of vitamins contained in CO2–extract of hips imparts the following properties to it: regenerating, antiinflammatory, restorative, moistening, rejuvenescent and normalizing lipidic and vitamins exchange. Vitamin P, contained in the extract of hips strengthens the influence of vitamin C, but their influence is mutual: vitamin P reinforces capillaries only in presence of vitamin C. Vitamin K is necessary for normal blood coagulation. The value of hips extract is in riches and balance of its components.
Extract of hips is used in perfumery, cosmetics: preparations with extract of hips are actively restore and retain the beauty of skin and hair; in medicine and food industry: as a vitaminous additions which contribute to immunity strengthen, as antioxidant-aromatizer in butters and vegetative oils.
